Lose purchased issues
Do NOT purchase issues. Every time they update the app you lose all purchased content. Using the restore purchases option does NOT work. Contacting support has not reclaimed a single issue

I also lost all my issues when this app updated. I wish I had read this review. What a waste of money!
Loose 5 yrs of issues in one fell swoop!
Crossstitcher and cross stitch collection gave their digital division to Dennis publishing. Hence a second app with the same name. BUT Dennis and company will not support the old apps and any of your purchases before they took over will be lost in the cloud you will no longer be able to access them.I had all of mine downloaded on a new 64gb iPad, at 10 minutes per magazine and 4 years of monthly magazines it took days and days to get all my bought and paid for issues on to my iPad. I bought the larger iPad specifically to hold all my mags. Well, although these two magazine titles are all on my iPad now. I cant access any issues of cross stitch collection, at all! The app crashes every time.When I shot an email to customer service I received an automated answer pretty much what I stated the above. No support for old mags and their eventual disappearance from our devices.
Furious
I absolutely furious at the new publishers not supporting previous purchases and older digital issues. I feel like theyve stolen my money, and if theyd at all be receptive to refunding, I would demand one. What a terrible business practice! The magazine has not been responsive at all to this issue on social media, not even a half-hearted apology for what essentially amounts to theft. I cant even contact customer service through the app as it crashes every time I try to send a message. It also wont restore previous purchases for recent issues. I was in the middle of stitching a pattern from last December, as well. I live in the US and have no access to the print magazine. But to be honest, I wont consider giving a single cent of my money to this magazine until the issue is resolved and support for previous purchases under the old app is restored. I also intend to be as vocal as possible in urging other customers to leave negative (and accurate) reviews and to cancel their subscriptions.
